Exploring nature and historical ruins at the 50-hectare Thomson Nature Park.

Just like the Windsor Nature Park I visited not too long ago, the Thomson Nature Park is a green buffer zone for Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, and offers a glimpse into the nation’s efforts in ecological preservation and conservation.
There are 5 walking trails here, with a combined distance of approximately 3.8km; and with over 50-hectares, is also home to a wide array of biodiversity, as well as old historical buildings that were built in the 1930s.

I also had the pleasure to meet and chat with Nick Baker from EcologyAsia, who was kind enough to share some of his thoughts and experiences in wildlife photography. Do visit their website (here) to see some really amazing shots of wildlife from all across Asia.
